A LITTLE KNOW-HOW GOES A LONG WAY

A score is built.
Not born.

Your CIBIL score reflects your credit history. It helps lenders understand how you have managed borrowed money, not how much money you have.

  • New to credit? You may not have a score yet. That’s a starting point, not a failure.
  • Paying on time and keeping balances low can help build a healthy credit history.
  • Check your credit report for mistakes. Building credit takes time, not shortcuts.
02 / THE GOOD PART

03 / NO AWKWARD QUESTIONS

Wait, what?

Because nobody hands you
a manual at eighteen.

What exactly is a CIBIL score?

It is a three-digit credit score, usually ranging from 300 to 900, based on your credit report. Lenders may use it alongside other information when considering an application. It is not a measure of your worth or your income.

I just turned 18. Do I already have a score?

Not necessarily. If you have no reported credit history, your report may show no score. Being 18 alone does not create a credit score, and you do not need to borrow just to have one.

How does an FD-backed credit card work?

A fixed deposit acts as security for the card. Your limit, deposit requirements, access to the deposit, and fees depend on the issuer. Missed payments can still affect your credit history, and the issuer may recover dues from the deposit.

Should I spend more to get more cashback?

No. Cashback is a bonus on spending you already planned. Interest, fees, or unnecessary purchases can quickly cost more than the rewards you earn.

Which brands and cashback offers are available?

Specific issuer partnerships, brand offers, and cashback rates have not been announced here. Always check the issuer’s current terms, eligible purchases, reward caps, and exclusions before spending.
